Penn State Mont Alto Student Chorale in two events

The public is invited to join the Penn State Mont Alto Student Chorale in two choral performances. The first will be the chorale’s spring concert at 7 p.m. on April 21 in the historic Emmanuel Chapel at no charge. On May 7, the chorale will be joined by 170 choral performers from four area schools during Penn State Mont Alto’s Second Annual Choral Festival. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Activities Center (MAC). General admission is $5 per person at the door.

Movies and Panel Discussion about Conservation

On March 30, the WITF documentaries “Mira Lloyd Dock: A Beautiful Crusade” and “Gifford Pinchot’s Conservation Legacy” will provide the basis for a panel discussion about the history and future of conservation and how to develop conservation leaders for the 21st century. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the General Studies Building Auditorium at Penn State Mont Alto. It is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

Mont Alto Hosts International and Intercultural Events

The Penn State Mont Alto International and Intercultural Programs Office invites the public to experience authentic performances from a variety of world cultures this spring. An array of dance and entertainment events will be held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the General Studies Auditorium on the Mont Alto campus. They are open to the public and free of charge. Light refreshments will be served.
